A comprehensive review of your upcoming travel plans, with personalized recommendations to keep your family healthy. Typically completed over two appointments: a 20-45 minute phone consult, followed by an in-person appointment to administer vaccines and pick-up medications.
We are a designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre.

About Dr. Joshua Posen
Dr. Joshua Posen is a general pediatrician, with additional expertise in infectious diseases and travel medicine. He provides primary care in pediatrics, consultations for infectious diseases, including for newcomers to Canada, and runs a travel clinic for all ages. In addition to his clinic work,
Dr. Posen works in the emergency department at SickKids.
He completed medical school at Johns Hopkins University, where he also obtained a Master of Public Health. He went on to pediatrics residency at Cornell in New York City, and then fellowship in infectious diseases at SickKids. He worked on healthcare projects in Thailand, Myanmar, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire, and has visited 40 countries on all continents. Outside of work he spends time with his family, his playful bernedoodle, exploring visual and performing artworks, and traveling.

Meet the Team

Nurse Lead
Melanie Rincon
Melanie is a highly skilled and dedicated registered practical nurse with extensive nursing experience in transplant care, wound care, general medicine, and nephrology. She has worked in both hospital and outpatient clinic settings, and has a strong background in both adult and pediatric healthcare. She provides compassionate quality care and patient education to a wide variety of patients with complex medical needs. Outside of work, Melanie enjoys photography, and spending quality time with her friends, including her quirky, dog-like cat “Niko” - he plays fetch! She is an animal lover and has engaged in volunteer and foster work with shelters.

Physician Assistant
Jenna Boulet
Jenna graduated from the University of Toronto Physician Assistant program in 2019 after completing her undergraduate degree in Health Science at Carleton University. For the last 5 years, she has been working in pediatric emergency medicine both at CHEO in Ottawa and now the Hospital for Sick Children here in Toronto. Jenna has always had a passion for pediatric medicine and prior to working in healthcare she enjoyed coaching youth sports in the community. In her spare time she enjoys playing beach volleyball, snowboarding and spending time with family.

Physician Assistant
Shada Naddaf
Shada is a certified Physician Assistant with a passion for working with children and families. She completed her Bachelor of Sciences degree at the University of Guelph in 2020 before going on to complete her Physician Assistant degree at McMaster in 2022. Since graduating, Shada has been working full time at SickKids, initially in Pediatric Medicine and more recently has transitioned to the Emergency Department. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and puppy, and going to concerts. She is excited to take on a new role in a community-based setting!
