Pre-travel consultations are available for entire families and individuals of all ages.

Travel Medicine appointments do not require a referral. Please contact us directly.

Dr. Posen holds a Certificate in Travel Health issued by the International Society of Travel Medicine, and provides consultations that are personalized to your questions and needs. We offer all immunizations, and are a

Public Health Agency of Canada designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre.

Pre-travel consultations are typically completed over two appointments:

​

1. A telephone or video consultation, lasting 20-45 minutes, during which we review recommendations and answer your questions.

2. An in-person appointment, during which vaccines are administered and medications are picked-up.

 

As of 1998, pre-travel medicine services have not been covered by OHIP. 

Dr.  Posen's pre-travel consultations are priced according to his expertise and comprehensive approach. Prices vary based on destination, due to the time required to review recommendations, and prepare and administer vaccines.

We partner with a local pharmacy and do not upcharge for vaccines or medications.

We do not charge additional injection fees.
